**~:: supply folder  ::~**

1.  Open a transparent canvas ..mine is 600 X 400 * you may need more width for your name

I then flood-filled overtop with Pattern 'polka dots'

2.  Add a New Raster Layer > Flood Fill with White

We're going to use that new layer as the Drop Shadow :

3.  Before we add text - copy your Bunny and paste as a New Layer = named 'Bunny'.  It isn't important where you place him, at the moment.

Here are the Materials setup for Foreground/Background :

4.  Now use the Vector Nodes to shape/lengthen, etc. your text. Switch back and forth between the Bunny and the Text - shaping text with the Object Selection Tool and positioning the bunny.

Here's mine (resized for screenshot) :

Once you have your text as you like it > Convert to Raster > rename to = 'Text'

5. Ok!  Now you get to have some fun - decorating your grassy text with flowers.  First I'll have you make another layer - so you can grow flowers from behind the top grass layer.

Open your Picture Tube Tool > locate 'Grass Blades'  ..  these settings :

At your 'Flowers' layer > click to place the tube at selected places at the top side of your text and, maybe off to an open area, aside :

Once you've got a pleasing array of grass :

I would suggest you not overdo the blades ..  think of them as complimentary to your text.  Also, be careful not to place any grass/flowers too close to the Tail or the Nose - you'll want to keep some space between them and the flowers for when you use the Warp brush - so you'll only warp the bunny, not the flowers.    Here's mine :

6.  Now find the 'Spring Flowers' at your Picture Tube :

7.  Add a greeting, if you like.  Here's how I made mine :

**Depending on what Colors you use for your text - you'll have to adjust your Shadow Color.  An easy way would be to use the settings for Drop Shadow - then click into the Color window, there, to bring up the Materials Palette.  Leave the selection where it is at the inside square - click around the Color Wheel to choose the color that corresponds to the color used at your Text.  The Drop Shadow color should, then, be complimentary to your text.

8.  Ok..  Just a narrow border to frame the white.  Make sure you've got everything where you want it to be - the Border is going to Flatten your image and you'll lose all layers :

Ok.. you can call this Finished and save as a Jpeg  .. or follow along to animate your bunny

9.  The next steps are written only for versions of PSP8, 9 and 10  .. PSP7 has no Warp brush so you'll have to blink the eye and move the nose with the Push Tool or what technique you know best.

Return to your Original :

Open your Warp Brush   **we're not using Mesh Warp

Settings :

click the brush and hold a bit = it will squeeze shut - stop the squeeze at this point :

Open the Retouch Tool = Push

Settings :

We're going to *hopefully* do this with only two strokes of the Push brush :

You'll not need it to be perfectly closed.. this is good enough :

Grab it from the Layer Palette and drag to your New Canvas.

10.  You should now have three Rasters at your new Canvas :

Your palette should look like this :

11.  Highlight the 'Background' layer - Zoom In

Open your Warp Brush

Change to these Settings :

Center the brush over the bunny nose

..  Pull Down just a Tad!  *turn ON/OFF the layer overtop/not warped - to see your twitch in action.. if it's too much > Undo back to before your warp action and warp again

12.  Open your Selection Tool  = set to 'Rectangle' :

Turn ALL layers ON

Save As a Paint Shop Pro Image *.psp

13.  Open Animation Shop ..  Browse to Open your saved .psp image :

Do you want to add a random tail twitch?  No problem :

Again - turn OFF/ON the layer to have a comparison and see how well you did.. You don't want a huge amount of movement.

Ok.. play your creation!  You're finished .. just Optimize and let us see yours!!

You may want to resize before you Optimize - to lessen the kb's
