1.
Open 'PenguinPlop.psp'. Leave the turned Off/RedX layers as they are .. for now.
**the 'created by' layer is my © - for informational purpose only. You are free to turn that layer OFF. Keep it and use it, if © is required where you'll post your tag.

Material Palette:
Enter your text with ALL CAPS.
Using the vector nodes = pull your text UP to about the height of the penguin. *if you have a very long name, you may want to pull it in from the side nodes and follow these steps:
**If your name is longer than the background frame & ice base layers:
-
using the Deformation tool on the 'framed bkgd layer and the ice base layer' - pull each, to the right, to fit underneath your text
-
if you still need more room : either use the vector nodes at your text layer to pull the text to the left (squeeze) ~ or ~ go to Image > Increase Canvas Size > adjust the width & then deform your bkgd/ice base, etc.
At your VectorText layer - Right click > Convert to Raster > rename to 'Text1'
now change the Blend Mode to 'Screen' (don't worry if you can't see it!) :
2.

Now we'll begin to build the Animation .. *Ü*
First I'll explain a method - 'Drag n Drop' - that we'll be taking often.
Open a New Canvas - Transparent. The size should be at least the Height and Width of your image. *check the size of your image by going to :
Position the new canvas at the side of your workspace..out of the way. You won't need to 'see' the entire canvas.

left click on the Layer Palette > on the 'Merged' layer
-
hold your Left mouse button down
-
move to the inside/background of your new Canvas and 'release' the mouse
-
your copied merged layer will make it's own layer at your new canvas

every drag n drop afterward will apply as it's 'own' layer
