Thank You *Ü*

This is written in PSP9 but I think will easily translate to PSP7 & 8

Supplies  *includes SBP preset 'Buddy Text' (add to your FlamingPear Environments&Textures); Arbuckle fat Font; raeBuddyRabbitBounce.mng (open in AS); raePSP Layers

**If you don't have SuperBladePro - I've written the tut to include a comparable EyeCandy3 setting.

At PSP - open the PSP Layers from supplies.  You'll see I have included several frames; extra eggs; a basket; a paint bucket; and a layer with Buddy - for you to use as reference - you'll delete this layer once you take your tag to AS.

Highlight the BuddyRabbit layer and Add a New Raster Layer - it should be positioned above Buddy.

Open Arbuckle font and minimize.  Text size is high..  set the size at approx 135 for the 1st initial.  Highlight your text at your text entry window to include the letters following the initial only and set the text size to approx. 90.

Floating & Antialias checked   Stroke = 5   Kerning = 0

My choice for text colors are the blue and pink..as shown *for any color you choose - take it from the brightest point in the color wheel..as shown:

**If your name is long but you'd like to keep the 'height' of the text:  increase the Kerning to 25 and apply your text.  Deselect.  Choose the Deformation tool and pull the side nodes toward the center to fit.  You may have to Increase Canvas Size to see your side nodes on a very long name.

When you have that finished - open the Preset Shape tool to Elipse/Circle. Stroke size 4.  Your choice of Foreground/Background colors.  Randomly place circles into your text - trying to avoid putting them into the text outline. Change the colors, as well.

When finished - turn off all layers but your Text and Circles. Merge Visible and Deselect.  Duplicate three times to 4 layers text.

Highlight the very top layer and Select all/Float.   Apply the SBP preset 'Buddy Text'.

Deselect.  Now the magic part - follow the Blend Mode set up as shown:

**if you don't have SuperBladePro - here are the settings for Eyecandy3..  Apply twice!

**if you used EC3..remember to use the same Blend Modes shown above

 Merge visible your text layers.

Unhide the BuddyRabbit layer and the eggs, basket and paint bucket.  Use what you like and place them where you like - turn off or delete what you don't.  You can have a tag with no background or choose from one of the premade frames at those layers. Turn one on - one at a time - to see how they look.  Or make your own...there is one with just a frame that you can fill with what you like.

If your frame background is too big.. too small:

Highlight your background layer and choose the Deformation Tool.  Resize by pulling the nodes :

Now..  if you want a drop shadow - this is how I did it (if you don't want one, skip this part):

Make a New raster layer 'under' Buddy layer.   Open your Airbrush, set your Background color #88829C.  Use these settings:

Now, keep in mind our lightsource is from above.. so place your airbrush so that half of the color will apply 'behind' Buddy, the eggs, text, etc.  Click once then hold the Shift Key and move your airbrush precisely to the right and click again to get a straight line of color.  Place the color in segments, as shown *Don't overdo, you don't want the shadows too evident*:

Now, still on the shadow layer - apply a Gaussian Blur of 5  ..  then apply a Motion Blur:  Angle=90, Strength=30%

It should look like this.

We're ready to go to AS.  Delete your Bunny Rabbit layer and all background/egg/basket/paintbucket layers you didn't include on your creation.

Once that's finished - turn off all but your background layer and shadow (if you made one - Merge visible with the background).  Copy and paste it to AS as New Animation.  Duplicate to 19 frames.

Back to PSP - turn off your Background layer.  Turn on your text and eggs, etc.  Merge visible, copy and paste to AS.  Minimize.

At AS - Edit/Select all  Edit/Propagate Paste at your 19 frames Background.

**if you wanted No Background..no shadow  .. just the animation and text/transparent tag:

After creating your text and placing your eggs, etc. at PSP - turn off the Buddy layer/Backgrounds, etc. and Merge Visible the rest.  Copy to AS.  Minimize.

Open a New Canvas Transparent ..duplicate to 19 frames and continue from here:

Open the BuddyRabbitBounce.mng.  Select All/Copy.  Right click at the first frame at your 19 frames Background -Paste into Selected Frame.  If you added a shadow - move him so that part of the shadow is 'under/behind' him and left click to place.

Bring up your text, etc. and Copy.  Right click into the first frame - Paste into Selected Frame.. move to position, again with part of the shadow 'behind' and left click to place.

The Frame speeds are:
