• if you are using PSP 7 or 8 ..  drop the Pattern 'Graphic20' to your PSP Pattern folder
• Open the 'Girls' to your PSP workspace
• Move the SBP preset to your - FlamingPear>Environments&Textures folder

• Right click anywhere at your top tool bars and choose 'Customize'

• Scroll to 'Effects' and then click on 'Last Used Plugin' at the right
• when you click - a gray icon will appear under your cursor

• Click and hold while moving your cursor up to an available area at your toolbar
• you'll see an 'I' bar appear - then release the mouse click and your 'Repeat Last Plugin' button will be placed and look like this :

  ~ now we'll begin the tut ~

1.

New Canvas 500X400 *wider for a long name

• Add layers and name each as shown here :

2. 

Choose the 'Text Fill' layer :

Font - Budmo Jiggler

• Floating - size 60
• Antialias - smooth
• Kerning - 100
• Foreground - null
• background - Black

Choose the 'Text Outline' layer :

• Floating - size 60
• Stroke -1
• Antialias - smooth
• Kerning - 100
• Foreground - White
• background - null
• select none - position the white outline so that it fits to overlay the edges of the black 
• Select All/Float
• Apply SuperBladePro preset - 'Chromed'
• Turn off all layers but the two text layers - Merge Layers Visible
• rename 'Text'
• turn all layers On

Magic Wand into the text background :

• Hold the Shift key and select the insides of letters such as 'A,B,D,O, etc'
• Selections > Invert
• Selections > Modify > Contract by 3
• Highlight the 'Lights' layer
• Flood fill each letter with White
• Select None

Duplicate the 'Lights' layer three times - to a total of four layers :

• at Copy(3) of lights
• Selection tool set to rectangle - draw around one letter *at a time
• Effects > UnpluggedEffects > Disco Lights :

• Move to the next letter *no need to undo the previous selection..let the ants run
•  
• repeat the effect by clicking the 'Repeat Last Plugin' button you installed

Once all your letters on that layer have the effect applied :

• let the marching ants run
• turn off the layer and move to the next > Copy(2) of lights
• select each letter one at time > repeating the Disco Lights effect > change the Rotation to 175

Once all your letters on that layer have the effect applied :

• let the marching ants run
• turn off the layer and move to the next > Copy of lights
• select each letter one at time > repeating the Disco Lights effect > change the Rotation to 85

Once all your letters on that layer have the effect applied :

• let the marching ants run
• turn off the layer and move to the next > lights
• select each letter one at time > repeating the Disco Lights effect > change the Rotation to 15

Select none

6.

Magic wand  > Feather set to 0

• Return to your 'Text' layer ..  click into the background
• Selections > Invert
• Selections > Modify > Expand by 2
• Move to your 'Dots1' layer

Paintbrush > size 50 > Density & Opacity set to 100

• Choose pattern at your materials
• browse to 'Graphics20'
• Angle > 0  ..  Scale > 10
• swab the pattern over the selection
• keep selected

Move to layer 'Dots2'

• at pattern, change the Angle > 90
• again swab the pattern over the selection area
• Keep selected

We're going to use AnimationShop to remove the white from the dots layers :

• at your canvas > right click/Copy
• move to your layer palette > left click on Dots2 layer and hit Delete at the keyboard
• Keep selection

At AnimationShop :

• Paste as a New Animation
• Animation > Replace Color
• ~ Replace ~ Old Color ~ White
• ~ With ~ Transparent Opacity
• Close the graphic at AS

Return to PSP :

• at your canvas > right click > Paste into Selection

At your layer palette :

• click on Dots1 layer
• at canvas >right click/Copy
• layer palette > left click on layer Dots1 and hit delete at keyboard
• back to AS and paste/replace color as above..close.. Paste into Selection again at PSP

Select none

7.

Now you'll place your showgirls around your letters :

• Selection tool or Lasso tool > cut out and copy a girl
• move back to your canvas > Paste as a New Selection
• use your Selection tool to position her
• ~while she's 'selected' you may move her as you need
• ~while she's 'selected' you may Image>Mirror if you like
• continue placing your girls
• ~at any time you can use the Selection or Lasso tool to re-select them and move them.. or select them and 'delete'

When finished - Select none.

8.

Now we'll build your animation ..  your layers should be set up this way :

• Merge Layers Visible > right click > Copy
• At AnimationShop > Paste as a New Animation

  ---

• back to PSP > Undo
• Turn Off  'Dots2' 
• Turn On  'Dots1'
• Turn Off 'lights'
• Turn On  'Copy of lights'
• Merge Layers Visible > Copy

  ---

• At AS > Right click into your frame > Paste After Current Frame

  ---

• back to PSP > Undo
• Turn Off  'Dots1' 
• Turn On  'Dots2'
• Turn Off 'Copy of lights'
• Turn On  'Copy(2) of lights'
• Merge Layers Visible > Copy

  ---

• At AS > Right click into your 2nd frame > Paste After Current Frame

  ---

• back to PSP > Undo
• Turn Off  'Dots2' 
• Turn On  'Dots1'
• Turn Off 'Copy(2) of lights'
• Turn On  'Copy(3) of lights'
• Merge Layers Visible > Copy

  ---

• At AS > Right click into your 3rd frame > Paste After Current Frame

  ---

• At AS > Edit > Select All
• Animation > Frame Properties > Display Time > 6

Play your animation!  .. you're finished *Ü*..whoohoooo  .. you only need to Optimize, Save and Showoff!

Optimization settings :

• Colors > 255 > Optimized Octree > Error Diffusion
• Optimizations > Write Minimal Frames > Map Identical Pixels to Transparent
• PartialTransparency > Convert Pixels less than 34%
• Yes, blend with this color #E2E1D4 (save this to your CustomColors - it's so much better than White most of the time)
